Guided Tour, Day Two

Here’s another photo from the guided tour. Today it’s taken from the summit of Mount Eden, one of Auckland’s dormant volcanoes. The view is looking back toward North Head in Devonport, with Rangitoto in the background. Rangitoto was the most recent major volcanic eruption in New Zealand, occurring after Maori arrived.
