The great thing about where I live is that I CAN get to the grocery store/bank/library on foot. The pharmacy/church/urgent care I tend to get to via bus now. But I don't NEED someone to drive me.
Kirikiriroa Hamilton has bus service, but it's not exactly comprehensive. I could get into the centre of the city and its CBD by bus, and maybe the long travel time and long walks to the stops might compensate for the poor parking if I drive there, but neither option is appealing. So, I only go into the centre of the city when someone else is driving.
I wish they'd hurry up and build the commercial area near my house, but there's absolutely no sign of anything even being kinda, sorta begun, so it's entirely possible I'll have been reduced to ash long before any shops actually open. Which is why I'm considering otgher options.
