And that’s a shame. Assuming he’s drug-free (and with the history of the race over the years, it’s easy to see why some people wouldn’t automatically assume that), his own achievement will be lost in the dust and mist of the farce that was this year’s race. The blame for that must surely rest squarely with the race organisers whose regime allowed the drug-cheat atmosphere to flourish. The must clean up their act or end the race.

Tour de Pharmacie! I love it!
Lost in France has known for years that the "coureurs" of the Tour de France are a bit off. After all, why work up a sweat doing all that cycling when you can be sitting on your balcony drinking a frozen margarita?
But to go from being a bit daft to using illegal substance, that's a large step to take.
One of the more serious side effects of long term use of these performance enhancing drugs is testicular cancer, what's that I hear you say? Lance Armstrong...
