Today was a blustery day—very strong winds in the morning, gusty all day long, and rain by afternoon. But before the rain, a group of ducks decided to go for a walk in the park near our house. Actually, they were really looking for handouts since they came waddling over when they heard me moving to take their photo.The strong winds returned this evening, accompanied by heavy rains. This storm is far worse than one recently that was supposed to be terrible but that was a total dud. It happens.
Anyway, I’ve been extremely busy with work this week, which is where I’ve been. I should have a more normal schedule now.

ReplyDeleteIt was very windy here in Indiana as well but no duck sightings.
ReplyDeleteThat family of ducks has been around for a long time—well, they may actually be different ducks, but I like to think they're ducks who live around here permanently. The other day, they got into an argument with a couple much larger seagulls. That's the closest I come to seeing wildlife around here, though.
