

Yesterday I went to the Auckland waterfront to drop off my mother-in-law so she could board a cruise ship. There was nowhere to park, which meant I couldn’t take any photos.
So, I stopped on the other side of the bridge at Northcote Point. It was very overcast, with storms on the way, so the photo above is a bit dark and dull. It doesn’t do the Auckland skyline justice.
The photo of Auckland at the top of this post was taken from underneath the Auckland Harbour Bridge—literally. The photo on the right side is of the underside of the bridge. Both were taken yesterday afternoon. I’m posting them because I realised I haven’t put up any photos of Auckland yet this year.
