almost every year, I go see the AIDS quilt at the Egg, near the state capitol. Unfortunately, my daughter was sick Monday, when I would have gone.
Also, because of the budget cuts, it's only going on 3 days instead of 5. *** It occurred to me, and Google reminded me, that the other thing that December 1 represents is Rosa Parks refusing to move. So naturally, I blogged about Woody Allen.

December 1 would also have been Matthew Shepard's 34th birthday. Another young gay life lost far too soon.
