New Zealand’s very good week

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has completed her trip to the United Nations. The NZ Labour Party released very short daily videos of highlights from that day, something I only found out about halfway through. Jacinda also did a Facebook Live event several days. The best way to see them is probably one right after the other, so here they are:

Day One

Day Two

Here’s the first Facebook Live that the prime minister did:

Day Three

Day Four

The prime minister also did a Facebook Live from the greenroom of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert:

Day Five

The prime minister also did a Facebook Live video from “backstage” at the UN, and she provides some background about where she was, and her speech:

It was a very successful trip in which Jacinda promoted, as pundits call it, “New Zealand, Inc.” as well as New Zealand’s values and commitment to international solutions to global problems. We’ll be hearing more about all that here in New Zealand over the coming years, but this week the USA and other countries got to hear it all for themselves.

It was a very good week for New Zealand.
