More good economic news for the US

In this video, the Associated Press reports that the unemployment rate fell for the fifth straight month—down to 8.3%, the lowest in three years. This comes hard on the heels of good economic news last month, namely that the US had experienced 22 months of job growth, and that 2011 was the best year for job growth since 2005 and the second best since 1999.

All of which is a good start—and good news.

But that has nothing to do with Obama; that was the "job creators" creating jobs because Congress didn't punish the "job creators" with these terrible tax burdens.

Then when President Romney is elected, we'll cut taxes even more. Free ice cream and cookies for EVERYONE (who supported his campaign financially, that is.)

Yes, exactly! It is kind of funny watching Republicans trying to spin the good news as bad news, saying that it's somehow President Obama's fault that the US hasn't recovered more. But, then, having primary responsibility for the mess, they would have to do that.

I hope there's chocolate sauce on top of the ice cream and maybe some whipped cream.

I thought it was really funny how the Republicans say if Obama wasn't around things would be better. Well let's hope in the coming months things continue to be better.

If that happens the Republicans will actually have to some up with ideas for why they should be elected as opposed to being against Obama. And Republicans coming up with ideas well talk about your oxymorons.
